ANNOUNCEMENT: Philippines Consulate in Dubai Introduces New Timings

The Philippine Consulate General, formerly known as PCG is the Dubai government office where one can process various Philippine documents.

Earlier this week, The PCG introduced its new timings starting from the 16th of July. All the Filipino Expats in Dubai and the other Emirates were advised to note down the new timings of the consulate so that there is avoidance of clashes and if they plan to visit the consulate, then they’re well aware of the change of the documents.

According to the Public Advisory, the previous schedule of the processing and releasing of notarial documents like Special Power of Attorney, Affidavit of Support, along with Guarantee, Attestation and Certification documents etc. have also been announced to be changed.

The new business hours were announced to be:

  • The timings for processing of the notarial documents – 8:00am to 3:00pm
  • The timings for releasing of the notarial documents – 1:30pm to 5:00pm

There was something more to the news that would be an amazing piece of information to all the Filipino expats – the processing time for all the notarial documents has been reduced. Yes, it’s true.

The processing that took around 5-7 working days initially, has been reduced to only 4 working days after the submission of all the required documents.

An advisory has also been issued for better understanding. A glimpse of that is given below:

  1. Applicants must personally sign the documents to be notarized in front of the officials of the Consulate General.
  2. Mode of release of the notarial documents are as follow:

 

  • Please be reminded that applicant must sign the document/s to be notarized in front of the official of the Consulate General.
  • Applicants are to personally pick up the documents from the Notarial section at the designated date and time of the release.The original receipt needs to be brought by the applicant.
  • Applicant’s authorized representative should pick up the documents at the designated date and time of the release. The authorized representative should present and submit:

(1) original receipt of the transaction.

(2) original authorization letter from the applicant.

(3) photocopy of the applicant’s passport with the signature.

(4) photocopy of the authorized representative’s passport with the signature.

  • Applicant if wishes to authorize his/her preferred courier service provider to pick up his/her documents from the Consulate, then the authorized courier personnel must present and submit:

(1) original receipt of the transaction.

(2) original authorization letter from the applicant and

(3) photocopy of the applicant’s passport with signature.
