The Creek side that had been shut for quite a long time has just undergone a major transformation and has become accessible to the public. This modern upgradation is one of the city’s most happening neighborhood that has blown visitors away with a place to relax, eat and hang out.
This project stretches to at least 1.8km along the Dubai Creek which is close to Al Fahidi. It has been developed by the same group responsible for the development of The Beach at JBR, City Walk and the Bluewaters Island.
If you think that the place might have lost its cultural and heritage identity, then there is nothing to fear because Al Seef has managed to maintain the area’s heritage with its beautiful design choices. A beautiful blend of old and new, you will find open-air markets and spectacular views that are perfect for a weekend getaway.
Along the waterfront, there are cafes and restaurants to grab or bite on something or sip on some hot beverages while you manage to watch the dhow boats sail by.
The future of this project is scheduled for completion in 2018 and include the development of 3 new hotels, a floating market, galleries and an authentic souk that represents the 1950’s Dubai.
