Visiting USA has always been a dream for over half of the people of the world and getting there has also seem to be a task on its own.

But, here we are to guide you with the minute details. So that we can get you a step closer to exploring the King of North America – The United States of America.

OVERVIEW

It goes without saying that we’re talking here about a USA Tourist Visa. So, generally a citizen of any foreign country who wishes to visit the USA needs to obtain a visa prior to his travel. The visa could be either a non-immigrant visa for temporary stay or an immigrant visa as a permanent residence. There are also a handful of countries who are exempted from obtaining a visa to the US under the Visa Waiver Program.

So, what’s the Visa Waiver Program? The VWP allows nationals of certain countries to travel to US for either tourism or business purposes for stays of 90 days or less without the need of having to obtain a visa. Of course, not all countries or travelers are eligible to the VWP. The VWP travelers are required to undergo an authorization through an Electronic System of Travel Authorization and are screened at the port of entry of the US and are then enrolled in the US Home Security Department under the US-Visit Program.
