New Work Permit launched in Dubai

New Work Permit

Fulfilling the need and vacuum of freelance work, DIC (Dubai Internet City) on 21st November, has launched a freelance permit. The new permit allows the people from the IT sector to get work from the companies looking to hire services of freelance agents pertinent to the field. This will also enable the workforce to earn better than before through a systemized measure and help the companies hire better suitable assets through a lot of good ones.

Following the parameters set by such a package-oriented at education and media industries launched by Dubai Media City and Dubai Knowledge Park a few months ago, DIC has set the price at the same rate. The freelance package will cost DH 7,500 per annum inclusive of access to the business center. A total estimate of 100,000 freelancers have been licensed to work according to their likes, how, when, where, what with companies paying them of short-term contractual basis. This not only helps people work from home but helps increase performance as well. One cannot ignore the women who have to take care of both family and professional life can work easily however they like. DIC will also assist international assets to get their visa through a smooth process.

Professionals excelling in the sector of the web, mobile, IT, telecommunication, data science and analytics, software development can apply for these licenses. The head of the center for new economy and society at claimed at world economic forum that MENA region will be the hub of software development and data science.

The new permit allows the IT genies work wonders and that too, from their couches and sofas, working as they want to, and get better benefits. similarly, if the companies want t hire services of techies as they deem fit, it becomes more and more challenging and engaging for the assets to have better portfolios and projects. DIC’s initiative is a big step towards digitalization of the region till 2022.
