Eid is special, not only for the holidays but the fact that it brings you even more closer to your friends and family members and lets you spend some magical moments with them. Most of the times, we are confused as in where to go and spend your Eid. Should it be at the Dubai Fountain or a Resort plan or just a Desert Safari? Here’s a quick guide to spend your Eid-ul-Adha on a budget.

DAY 1 – FRIDAY MARKET, FUJAIRAH

Take a long drive to this traditional market or the “Souk” in the UAE and has a quality that you may not be find in any of the malls. The Friday market opens every day, even if you’re visiting it in the night, there’s always someone who’d be selling something to you. The origins of the market still remain a mystery. It’s located at a place that receives the highest rainfall in the whole of UAE. One of the attractive things about this market is that the produce is usually fresh and locally grown by the farmers.

DAY 2 – HATTA DAM

A quick drive from the Hatta Fort Hotel and a popular destination within the Hatta Heritage Village lies the Hatta Dam that is known to be a calm site that is far away from the buzzing city of Dubai. It is surrounded by mountains and sparkling turquoise waters that is eye-soothing. Visitors can now get a chance to spend some time by burning calories with a new kayak and paddling services.

DAY 3 – DHOW CRUISE

Marina or Creek Dhow Cruise is an hour cruise that gives you a panoramic view of the skyline of Dubai or the traditional Dubai across the ancient creek side. Cruise and enjoy the architectural design as well as enjoy a full course buffet with a live singer and a Tanura Dance onboard.

DAY 4 – CITY WALK

City Walk will remind you of European style streets where once you take a stroll down, you’ll find a series of designer stores and restaurants and make sure you admire the skyscrapers. It’s more of a community rather than a mall that kind of combines Dubai with the essence of Europe. City Walk is said to provide 3 main things – Shopping, dining and entertainment for all its visitors.

DAY 5 – SHEIKH ZAYED MOSQUE

What’s better than ending your Eid by visiting one of the richest architecture of UAE, the renowned “Grand Mosque” of Abu Dhabi. It was named after the President of UAE – Late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan al Nahyan. The mosque is a result of his vision and is now the resting place of its name giver.

It’s a well worth visit if you are someone who looks for serenity and wants to admire constructions and craftsmanship.
