The Screening of Beyond The Block With The Philippines Consulate & Tabeer Tourism

With the Filipino ladies of Dubai, the Consulate General has organized Inter-school debates, Dubai Musikahan (A song writing competition); along with photography and Film Making with celebration of various events, health care awareness programs and much more. This 2017, The Philippine Consulate envisions to showcase a series of films of several Filipino works. To launch this series, The Consulate in collaboration with Tabeer Tourism are looking at the screening of a famous documentary titled as “Beyond The Block” that is directed by Ricky Carranza.

The documentary talks about a Filipino street dance legend who answers the question of “Can one make a living through street dance?” by displaying the author’s life as an example. Now getting on to the good news! Tabeer Tourism LLC has announced 120 free tickets on first come first serve for people who are interested in experiencing and seeing the Filipino culture and movies. The registration can be done through Tabeer Tourism, where upon filling up details like your Name, email address, mobile number etc. you would be provided a confirmation email which upon showing at the cinemas, would allow you to get your free ticket for the screening of the movie. The company has emphasized entries only for the people who have registered themselves through their portal and have mentioned a review on their facebook page.
