UAE Visa Change: What to Do After Your Visa Expiry

So, you’ve spent a month, or three, in the UAE, and now you’re realizing that it’s not time for you to leave just yet? Well, you don’t have to.

Don’t get too excited just yet, you do need an exit stamp to apply for a new visa and to legally spend more time in the UAE – that is what we call “Visa Change”. And there is no point in you going for whatever exit process you choose without making the most of it.

Let Us Brief You on Some of the Most Ideal Options

A-to-A: Save Valuable Time

Quick and simple, you get on a flight from Sharjah Airport to either Muscat, Bahrain, or Kuwait. Now, you have an exit stamp from UAE, and your new visa can be applied. You then return to Sharjah Airport on the very next returning flight, pick up your visa from the Hala Section as soon as it’s approved. Done!

Holiday/ Exit Packages: Turn Your Exit into a Holiday

We thought, if you’re exiting anyway, why go to your home country when you can take this opportunity to explore a new country that does not require an entry visa from you. Exit packages usually include return tickets, hotel accommodation, airport transfers, and of course, UAE Visa.

  • Sri Lanka Exit is valid for almost all nationalities
  • Azerbaijan Exit is valid for almost all nationalities
  • Armenia Exit is valid for Kabayans and CIS nationalities
  • Turkey Exit is valid for Jordanians and Moroccans
  • Jordan Exit is valid for Egyptians

Whatever nationality you are, the point is to not pay an extra visa fee and enjoy the time you spend waiting for your UAE visa. Brilliant, we know.

Note that if a country you want to exit to is not listed in the option, and if you know for a fact that you do not need a visa to enter there, you could ask your travel agent to customize an exit for you. The whole point here – and of, course, what matters the most to your agent – is your convenience.

Oman Exit: Fly or Take a Bus to The Nearest Border

If you’re lucky enough to be Kabayan, then this is the cheapest visa change process of all. Same concept as the above 2 options – exit stamp and new visa application. You have 2 options here, though – you either fly to oman, or get transferred to Oman and back by buses.

Obviously, the flying option would cost a bit more than the bus ride, but you can find some particularly good deals with some travel agencies.
