One thing you need to keep in mind; that if you are a Filipino, your passport is valid for only five years, while the tourist visa of the United States of America is valid for ten whole years, with a multiple entry option. Which mean that as you renew your Philippines passport, you need to get the old one with you as you travel (the old passport with the valid USA visa printed on it). Another point to keep in mind, during the ten years during which your USA tourist visa is valid, the maximum period for which you are allowed to be in the United states is six months. Since the visa is a multiple entry tourist visa, if you plan on staying for over six months in the United States, you will have to travel back to your home country in between, in order not to break the regulations and conditions of your issued tourist visa.
Now, here is a riddle, how many countries or territories can you visit with the use of a valid USA tourist visa on your originally Philippines passport? The answer is: more than you could have ever guessed.
The countries you can visit are divided into two visa types. One category includes visa-free countries, which means you just enter the country by simply passing the immigration section at the airport upon your arrival. Your passport is only stamped with an entry stamp, and you get an exit stamp on it on your way out, you do not pay anything. The other category includes visa-on-arrival countries or territories. This means that you do not have to apply for the tourist visa of those countries before visiting, but once you are there, you probably pay a small amount of money, for which you get a tourist visa allowing you to stay in that country for a certain amount of time.
Here is where you can go with a USA tourist visa on your passport.
